The Big Idea is a competition open to any student registered for the spring semester at Lamar University, Lamar Institute of Technology, Lamar State College-Port Arthur or Lamar State College-Orange. Students will have the opportunity to enter any new idea, invention, or service in the contest for a chance to win cash prizes.
First Place: $3,000
Second Place: $2,000
3 Third Place(s): $1,000
Because of the quality of ideas we received last year, we will give away three third places in the Big Idea Challenge 2012!
